On Wednesday, The Sun report that Manchester United have banned Paul Pogba from playing basketball.

According to the tabloid, “Manchester United’s medical staff feel Pogba’s obsession with shooting hoops could aggravate his hamstring problem.”

Rob Maul adds: “United fear that 6ft 5in Pogba, 24, is at risk of muscle strain as well as stress impact on his knees and ankles caused by playing basketball in his down time.”

Playing basketball on a regular basis appears to have contributed to Pogba’s latest hamstring injury.
