Man United Legend Calls Ighalo On Video, Tells Him What He Must Do This Season At Old Trafford
Manchester United legend Andy Cole has called Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo to congratulate him on his arrival at Old Trafford and also wished him good luck this season in all competitions.
The former Super Eagles star was about to attend to an interview with Manchester United media team before his phone rang and had to pause to receive the call from Andy Cole.
Andy Cole introduced himself to Odion Ighalo as former Manchester United striker before asking the Nigerian how he will feel when he scores his first goal for the Red Devils.
”It is will great for me because this is what I am looking forward to as I have supported this team since when I was young and I’m prepared to be successful here,” Ighalo replied.
Cole also asked Odion Ighalo if he followed his career very well while he was playing for Manchester United asking him to name the goal he feels was his best during his playing time.
But Odion Ighalo replied that he watched many games Andy Cole played and saw many superb goals he scored for Manchester United years back.
”There are lot of goals I watched you score and I can really pick one, but I remember a goal you brought the ball down with your chest before you scored,”. Ighalo explained.
The 48-year-old also asked Odion Ighalo to explain the level of preparation for Manchester United this season after joining the side from the Chinese Super League.
”I have been training hard with my teammates and I know I am playing for a big club and I am working everyday to be fit and bring success to this team,”.
Cole then wished Odion Ighalo all the best in his career at Manchester United in which the Nigerian also thanked him for the call and promised to make him proud.
Andy Cole spent six years of his football career at Manchester United winning numerous trophies before he left.
