“My Back Is Broken” – Mercy Johnson Prays For Mothers As She Plays Role Of Fufu Seller On Movie Set (Video)
Popular Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson complained about her back pain after returning to her passion for being in front of the camera and writing scripts after a long maternity break.
The actress touched the hearts of many after switching roles and trying to lead the lives of poor women in rural areas.
Loved for her down to earth nature, the actress took to the streets during a shoot and broke the mowing.
She went on Instagram and shared a video in which she was selling Fufu on a movie set while praying for all of the mothers who have different experiences every day.
In the video, the mother of four placed a large, transparent bowl of fufu on her head as she walked around. Her role seemed to have opened her eyes to what some women go through who mow the fufu and still support their children.
The movie star said her back hurt after walking for a while. She then continued to pray for women whose main job is to sell various items for their families.
She said;
“I’m on set where I am playing a fufu seller and then it just occurred to me like, God bless all mums. So, somebody will carry this big bowl and still back a child and then walk around. We carry it and we do it so well. God bless every single woman out there that is working so hard. May God crown our every effort with success.”
